I have a Merlin Magix 2.5 with a 4424LD+ as the operator phone. Why is it when I go to the 4424LD+ and press menu I don't see an option to program the system? The phone is on the first port of the system and is the only operator.

you can assign the programming port. check and see which port is assigned for programming

Can anyone describe the area in WinSPM where the programming port is assigned?

Well I just found it: Sys Program->System->SProg Port....
The main console is listed here, but the user cannot access system programming from this station any longer. Just upgraded this system yesterday, and had to change console extension # from 100 to 200; I didn't think this would affect the ability to program from the console, but apparently it did. Any ideas why?

Is anyone logged in remotely?

Remote log in will override the Console.

Well, come to think of it, I'm sure I was logged in remotely at the time I was working on this. Doh. We'll see on Monday...

I hate it when that happens......

(AND I do it to myself all the time....)
