I have a console problem with a P690 configured with 2 lpars. Both lpars are on diffrent i/o drawers. There is an async card on the last pci slot on p2 of each drawer, and an ibm break out box connects to that async card. The problem is that either the console connection keeps locking up or that I get a lot of garbage on the screen. Has anyone seen this before ?
