Console goes into nite service

I have a 3300 rel 7 with a 2000 that occasionally the console goes into nite mode during the day. The operator does not put it in nite but they can be away from the console for extended periods.

Just want to see if a RNA would set the console into nite.

You can't have a 2000 (console) on a 3300. I presume you mean the 5550 console. Yes, it can transition to night or absent based on the attendant busy out timer, you can set it 1440.

There is a Class of Service option to Busy out the Console after 10 minutes under certain conditions.

Attendant Console Busy Out Timer?? 10

Set this value to the maximum 1440 minutes (24hrs)

Maybe network problems a heart beat failure from the controller to the console?? I had this a few times and i have put te PC en IP5550 on 2 separate port on a procurve switch. Problems where solved..Check your logs in the controller.

By 2000 Console I assume you mean SC1000 Console, Change the COS value of attendant busy out timer to 1330 not 1440.
There was a bug on the 2k and not sure if this was fixed or has just reared its head on the MN3300 if you maxed the timer it would change service for no reason.
Fix was to lower this timer, I have had this on some MN3300's but not all.
