I updated the driver and application on an NT 4.0 (6a) server. Server runs fine until you try and log in at the "console" as anyone including admin. Desktop begins to come up but then bsod when updated app starts to load. Need to get in to server to delete driver and uninstall application upgrade. Last known...and VGA mode don't work. Anyone know how to get in to console without loading desktop apps? Any other suggestions for approach to solution would be appreciated.

Sounds like you are going to have to do a parallel install and then edit the files in the original install from there. You should be able to temporarily disable the service for the driver by editing the original registry. Also, you should be able to temporarily disable the program from running at startup by removing it from the original install's startup folder or removing it from the run keys.
