I am trying to copy data from Btrieve 6.5 database table to MSSQL 7 using simple copy programs written in our application dev language Magic. After running the programs in sets of about 100, I end up with at least 2 or more consistency errors in the tables loaded. I can drop the offending table and then create it again and load it by itself and its fine.
I have checked with the application techs at Magic and they are telling me I have their environment set up correctly. What should I be looking for in MSSQL? I have check the disks for errors but have found nothing. Here's the setup: Databases - Pervasive 7 on NT 4.0 SP6a server, MSSQL 7.0 Ent SP3 on Win2000 Adv SP2 Clients are all NT 4.0 SP6a. The Win2000 server is RAID 5.
Any help/suggestions would me MOST welcome!
