I want a low cost, easy to configure firewall. MCafee desktop firewall seems to fit the bill.
My environment.
Homeoffice (2k Server & 2003 server) behind a Linksys BEFVP41 router. I have 2 branch offices using linksys and a hardware VPN into homeoffice. I have 2-3 occassional software VPN users.
My office users are well disciplined and don't do a lot of downloading or risky surfing - still there is always that chance.
I want something easy to configure that won't interrupt my current remote connectivity.
Does the Mcafee Desktop firewall pass all the tests at (if configured correctly)?
Is there alternatives? What would you recommend instead of Desktop Firewall.
IS it easy to configure and use? Does it provide strong protection for my environment?
Is it recommended that I install it on ALL my desktops?
Thanks in advance.
