Hi Guys,
Can someone help me with that, I did a VPN installation using windows XP Pro as a server, and on the other end I'm using a xp pro to connect, the thing is connects ok but all I can see is the local computers.

I heard about something to do with wins, or lmhosts.. but I have no ideia how to do this.
Please give me some example...

Appreciate

I assume you can ping the remote machines. If it is only name resolution you need, either WINS or DNS will work fine. How you do this depends on whether you are using PPTP or IPSec. If you are using IPSec, the client you are using may also make a difference in how this is accomplished.

With PPTP, you can hand WINS and/or DNS server IPs to the remote client via DHCP.

Hi ,

Please can you let me know what is the cisco vpn client you are using?

Go to vpn connection properties and click the networking tab. Go into TCP/IP properties and click the advanced button. Uncheck the box that says Use default gateway on remote network.
