Connectivity problem

I have win2k server with 1 nic which is connected to a dsl hub, now the problem is i can ping to the internet when i give ping 202.54.30.2 but when i give the name of the site in the browser it times out,i have set the dns server address in the ip protocol tab.

can you ping based on the internet name ?
Can you try to use another DNS server ?

I cannot ping using internet name.My other win98 machine uses the same dns addreses and it works perfectly fine when the dsl cable is connected to this nic.

you have your own DNS server?

ifso, it seems that the IP is not propogating to the name....

did you do an nslookup???
