Hello everyone. I have installed MSDE on a Windows 98 system and I have the database on the server set to use windows authentication for security. Every time I try connecting to the server (ADEL) it sends me an error message "Login failed for user null. Not associated with trusted SQL server." Can anyone please help me set this up so that I dont have to have a user or password to connect to the SQL server for windows 98. Thanks

I have Windows 2000 but I am able to login successfully one time by using SQL Authentification. However, you must have the same password set up under Security > Logins.
I was unable to login unsuccessfully using the Windows authentification due to a password conflict. Depending on how you are set up on the Server will depend on how you need to login.
