Hello,

We use Cisco ACD system for our Helpdesk and use Crystal reports 2011 desktop and server to design reports and automate them throught the server. My problem is that i cant connect to the ACD system DB directly and run reports. I know there are some custom build crystal reports in the Cisco Historical reports which i use currently or then i manipulate them and use it for my purposes currently. However, i want to build my own reports using the fields from ACD system and want to schedule it automatically on the crystal report server. My admin copies over the ACD data from the database to another SQL DB everynight and i can connect to that SQL DB however the tables arent the same and the field i require are scattered all over the tables which makes it difficult for me to design any reports currently. Has anyone done this before or facing the same issue?

Please help me!! Need to resolve this issue immediately.

Thanks !!

If the admin is able to access the data and import it you should be able to do the same too. Just ask your admin for the connection information.

Viewer, scheduler and report manager for Crystal reports and SSRS.
Send your report everywhere.

Hi thanks yes i will get in touch with him and check on this. Another question i had was that much before this i was told that the reason i cannot connect to the ACD DB directly was it affects the performance of the ACD system. Is that true?

We connect to a Cisco Call Center DB directly(I am not sure if it is ACD), but we have not had any reports of performance issues. Of course that probably depend on the DB, server, network connections, the number of agents active at one time, etc.
