Connection Troubles

Hi Guys,

We are running Lucent centr-vu v6 here.
Just wondering if anyone had consistantly come across
this error message when trying to connect to a CMS server

"A connection to the specified CMS server could not be established"

The funny thing is if you try 5 or 6 times you can get a connection, and it doesnt matter what time of day it is
even when there should be not many users I still may have to try 3 or 4 times.

Any tips or anacdotes would be greatly appreciated.

Kinda sounds like a network problem. Can you ping the server consistently or do you have the same problem? Are you connecting to the server's IP address or to a DNS name for the server?
