Connection to server was terminated. 4.9 SP2

Help!

I recently updated my Netware server from 6.0 sp2 to sp5. I also updated groupwise 6.0 from sp2 to sp4. Now about 1/2 of my client pc's (mostly windows 2000, all fully updated from MS site) recieve the following message when trying to login:

"Netware Security Message:
Connection to server was terminated. Try to connect again. Select the Workstation Only checkbox to login to the local workstation."

I am running the 4.9 SP2 client without the lastest post SP patches, the patches did not seem to effect my problem.

Help!

firstly check you slp setup
the client is it deffinately sp'ed
no funny power savings on the clients

I had the same problem.

I uninstalled NMAS and the users were able to log in.
