hi,

I need to run my reports on a large Dbase DB. I'm useing the obdc supplied with CR 8.5. I takes me a whole lot of time (hours). does any one konw of a better ODBC for DBase or of a better and faster way of running these reports?

DBase isn't really designed for massive databases. A lot of the time, indexes aren't defined which slows things down.
If possible, set up a transfer to something faster - even a well indexed Access db is likely to be better.
We'll be launching a benchmarking/tuning application for Crystal soon - send me your email address and I'll keep you updated.
