Connection through ODBC

So I have a problem trying to connect to an Oracle database
from a Linux machine usng the Merant Oracle driver..
Can I connect like this without having install NET8 on the linux machine...
lets say that the Oracle server is at 192.168.1.200 the database name is Develop. How the connect string looks like???
