I telnet to my LInux box and I get connection refused. WHY?
I know it works because I was able to connect yesterday via telnet. I have re-booted 3 times now. I can access the internet from my Linux box.
ANYONE?????

Thanks

Is the telnet daemon (telnetd) running? Check /etc/inet.conf to make sure it's not commented out. The telnet service will not keep you from getting out on your machine, but it will (if it's not running) keep you from being able to get in via telnet to it.

The software required `Windows 95 or better', so I installed Linux.
