hi guys,

i have an iis in my machine(windows xp, iis 5) and had been working fine but now i can not access the local site in it if i use my ip address, it says "Connection refused". i can access the local site if i use the localhost and 127.0.0.1. i have searched the web but can't seem to find any solution.

any ideas?

thanks

localhost and 127.0.0.1 refer to the 'loopback' connector of the NiC, the IP refers to the external interface.
