Hi

I've added a basic Access DB to my site and am trying to create an admin page to add to the site. I've created the admin page in Access. When I save the page it comes up with the following message :

The connection string of this page specifies an absolute path. The page might not be able to connect to data through the network. To connect through a network, edit the connection string to specify a network (UNC) path.

Does anyone know how i can find the answer ?

Many Thanks

Terry

What is the connection string you are using? I asked this question before on another subject & they recommended:

strDBPath = "Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0; Data Source=" & Server.MapPath("fpdb/counter.mdb") & ";"

-or

strDBPath = "Driver={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)}; DBQ=" & server.mappath("fpdb/counter.mdb")
