Hi,
I have installed oracle 10g on solaris. I can login to unix box as oracle and can connect to the oracle using sqlplus "/ as sysdba".
But any other user(other than oracle) connects to server directly and try to do sqlplus on unix prompt gets the following error:

Message file sp1<lang>.msb not found
SP2-0750: You may need to set ORACLE_HOME to your Oracle software directory

I set the oracle home and every thing same way as I have it for oracle but still getting the same error.

I have two homes in this server one for 9i and one for 10g. When I change the oracle home to 9i and run sqlplus it works fine.
I changed all the environment variable but still getting the same error.

Any help would greately be appreciated.
Thanks

Are the other users members of the dba or oinstall groups?

You need to set the Oracle environment for each user in the .profile file. [3eyes]
