Connection PHP to M$ SQL Server 2000

I find myself having to use PHP on Linux to produce web pages using data from M$ SQL Server 2000.

I tried this once, as an experiment using SQL Server 6.5, but had only limited success.


Can anyone give me helpful hints and handy suggestions on this one? ______________________________________________________________________

Try using FreeTDS.

We successfully use both FreeTDS and Sybase to connect/query/etc MSSQL.

Sybase costs money though (I believe 100.00 per license).
