I set up a computer for some poeple and to run windows update and activate Win XP I had to connect to the internet. I used my user name and password for the dial up internet connection.

When I went to set up their internet connection it won't remeber their password say it's "12345". However it will remember their username. In the password field it still desplays the password field with far to many circles for "12345". I have tried removing all the internet connections and reconfiguring them but it won't remove my password from the IE dial up list. However the Windows dial up window does remeber their password. Could anybody please help?

P.S. Sorry about the long Question.

Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options > connections > (highlight connection wanted) Settings > put in new Name and Password. The next time you check this, the password (circles) will be longer than you put in. The password you enter is encrypted by Windows, you will always have "too many circles".

I feel like an Idoit. Thankyou

No, an idiot would continue to fight it and not ask for help.
