Connection Loss with Client Access

Please help!!!
I am experiencing issues with client access loosing connection to the AS400. When users log in to the as400 via client access, they are randomly loosing connection to the 400 and when they log back in with the same user name and password, they are not allowed to connect. The Job that was created and is running from their last login is still running and until I manually end the job, the user cannot connect.
What should I do about the connection loss and what as400 command should I use to change the "time out" time frame on the 400??

IBM's client access odbc driver's are a little bit buggy. Try switching to Microsoft's As400 odbc drivers. They work much better.



 
The latest versions of Client Access Express are very stable AFAIK. I have never had any problems in that respect.
What version are you using?

I use CWBODBC.dll version 10.00.04.00 for driver.

This came with V5R3M0 service pack SI17411

The buggy version that I was using was 9.00.08.00. That might explain my problem. Does version 10.00.04.00 work with V5R2?
