Since we've patched our SQL2000 servers for the MSBLASTER Worm, we've been having problems with people connecting to SQL using their Windows ID on a couple of our servers. They can connect using a SQL ID.

Here's the message they are getting:

Connection Failed:
SQL State:’28000’
SQL Server Error:18452
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server] Login failed for user’(null)’. Reason:
Not associated with a trusted SQL Server Connection.

I've talked to someone at another company and they are having the same issue.

Anyone else see this?

Try deleting and recreating one of the old users with the same credentials and see if it works. My company was hit on tuesday too.
