I'm not sure if this is a IIS issue or my PIX firewall issue. Hopefully I can get some feed back on one of these sites.
I have a windows 2000 advanced server, running Exchange and IIS. I have also installed OWA. Within my office, I can get to the information that I put on IIS with no problem. My IIS server sits on the DMZ of my PIX firewall. I have two NIC cards on my IIS server, one plugged into my PIX DMZ and they are on the same network, and the second is plugged into my internal network so I can access it from the inside. I have configured my PIX so that a public IP address is pointed to MY DMZ network going to my IIS server. At this point for testing all my ports are open through that public address. When my server boots up, I can ping it from outside my network, meaning going to the internet, and coming back in through the DMZ onto my IIS server. I can even view my information including loggin into OWA. When I am navigating through my IIS server from the outside it looses connection, not sure if this is random or not. I cannot hit the server anymore nor can I even ping it. Sometimes during navigating I have a continuous ping going and it times out until I click on another link to my site. In order to hit my IIS server again from the outside, I have to reboot the server, but then it does it again. Since when I reboot the server and it comes back up, I am assuming that this is not a PIX issue, can any please help?
