I have an Option 61c and have to ask a question... I've understood all about assigning the IP address and configuring a port on the Opt 61c etc, but what exactly am I connecting my LAN to on the Opt 61c? I assume I have to convert the Cat5 plug from the lead from the hub to some sort of serial plug for connection to the PABX? I've looked at the back of the PABX and found all the usual TTY ports etc, but I'm not 100% on what my LAN is meant to connect to. I have a 15 pin to ethernet convertor if it helps any?

All cabled up and nowhere to go... [smile]

Thanks.

You need to find a transceiver (AUI) and a lan cable (15 pins to 15 pins) from it to the back io panel. 1 for each CPU.

And don't forget this:
Warning! If you plan to connect the Meridian 1 switch to a corporate network, an Ethernet gateway or router is required to separate the
Meridian 1 from the corporate network. Connecting the Meridian 1 without a gateway or router will adversely affect the Meridian 1 system’s call handling ability.

Your opt61c cpu will be reading every single broadcast packet your LAN will send it too. Makes it busy and will crash.
