You need a Paradox ODBC driver, preferably one that's better than the ones provided with MS Office (which, depending on the version you have, may not work properly with certain tables).
You can obtain a Paradox ODBC driver from DataDriect (
however, they change $4,000 for a single license. It's far cheaper to obtain a copy of Corel's WordPerfect Office/Professional Edition, which includes a licensed version of Data Direct's Paradox ODBC driver.
Once you've installed an appropriate ODBC driver, you create a DNS pointing the the directory with your PAradox tables and go from there.
