I'm wondering if it is possible to connect some VoIP phones (we have access to a few to experiment with) through our companies LAN to our existing Merlin Legend/Magix system? I've done some searching on the web as well as this forum but haven't come across info that addresses this situation - maybe I haven't searched long/hard enough
It would simplify adding additional phones to our system if this is possible because of some cabling issues. We do have spare slots in our 3rd carrier if a particular module would be needed. Our servers and phone system live in the same room so cable interconnection would be easy.
This would all be the early prelude to migrating to VoIP phones throughout our physical plant.
Thank you for all your past input, that has allowed me to 'clean up' the operation and functionality of our legacy phone system.
