Quick question,
I have a client who owns two companies next door to each other.
SITE A is currently setup with a Server and a Windows 2000 Machine acting as a Mail Server and a gateway to the internet (don't ask me why this is the configuration of the network... I didnt implement it). Anyway, he has run a length of Cat-5 from the office next door into SITE A. He wants to give people access to the Server but nothing else.
I was thinking of just sticking a second NIC into the Server but I have been informed that there might be a way to filter packets on the Windows 2000 machine.
i know this might be a little vague but any help would be great. Thanks in advance!
Curtis
