Hi,
We have a Neax2001 IVS with Neax-Mail-AD40 voice mail.

It seems we have lost the ablity to access virtual locals from the outside(or any local without voice mail programmed. The only calls that get through from our autoattendant are locals programmed in the voice mail system. I am new the the system but the users swear that they were able to do this before. With 150 local I don't like the idea of having to enter all of them twice in the voice mail system just so they can access from the auto attendant.

Thanks
Tom

If you go through auto attendant, the only way for you to get to an extension is have a voicemail box for it. If an extension is not programmed into the voicemail and it is entered by a customer, it will send them to the main greeting. One option that you have is to set up the virtual line numbers as a transaction box of the prime line boxes, that way you wont have to build 150 vm boxes all pointed to transfer/deliver to different extensions. They might also be talking about the forwarding of the phones themselves, might want to check and see if the prime line is forwarded to rollover line under a busy condition, then make sure the rollover is pointed to the voicemail under a busy. If you have to build the boxes good luck and have fun.

You can talk about us, but you can't talk without us.
