Connecting to the DMZ via the Domain

Wonder if anyone can assist me here, I am running Checkpoint Firewall 1, basically I can connect to the DMZ sometimes and sometimes I can't via any machine on the LAN. What would be the easiest route to over come this flakey connection? As I need to map a path so I can run a GUI client for World Secure Server which resides on the DMZ.

Any comments/suggestions will be appreciated.
