We have developed an application that queries the Symposium Server and gathers Agent and Skillset data. Our application uses a user account (username and password) created on the Symposium Server using the SMI Workbench.
Our application has been working for years but we have a situation where there are 2 Symposium Servers, one is a version 6.0 and the other is a version 5.0.
Using the SMI workbench which I assume belongs to the newer Symposium Server 6.0 we are creating a user account on the 5.0 server but our application fails to make the connection to the 5.0 server. However a user account created on the 6.0 server will connect to the 6.0 server using our software.
The Symposium Server 5.0 returns a 60009 error that indicates that the username and password are ok but wont further authenticate.
Cant seem to get this to work.... has anyone experienced this?
