I just recieved Crystal developer edition 9 and am trying to connect directly to our oracle databases with CR. I have already inserted:
Path = C:\orant8\Net80\Admin
as a path to my oracle client or is there a specific file that I should point it to?

As of now I still cannot see any of the oracle databases as data sources in Crytal.

Any information would be greatly appreciated

(I use Toad and ocassionally MS access connected via ODBC.

You shouldn't need to worry over the pathing, if you have the Oracle client installed on the machine, just select Database->Add Database to Report->More Data Sources->Oracle Server.

Enter the info and it should connect.

Unfortunately when I try "more data sources" the only thing found underneath is "no items found".
