Hello, I've just starting moving SQL Server 2000 databases to a new SQL Server. The databases are using a front-end Access 97 application which the user picks which database to use.
Yesterday, when the application linked to the new server it was running slow but linking to databases that were still existing on the old server were fine. I made some changes to the new box last night but it didn't appear to help.
Overnite both SQL boxes were rebooted and the application works quickly against the new server but now runs slow against the old SQL server. I didn't make any changes to the old SQL server.
Any clue what would influence only allowing the application to work fine against one server at a time?
Thanks
Don
