We're testing our PS4 Web Interface and I have a user that connects to the network through VPN. They get in fine. They launch the WI page and it loads and they login to that just fine. After being presented with their only app, they attempt to launch it:

1 - the Connection Center window comes up as expected
2 - the "Connecting to Application" window comes up - but it says it's "Contacting 10.1.1.1" and displays the progress bar.
3 - It finally errors with a popup that reads "The MetsFrame Presentation Server computer you have selected is not accepting connections"

i'm thinking this is tied to the 10.1.1.1 that the app is tryingg to connect to but don't know how/why that IP is coming up. i tested it here and my Connecting to Application box simply says Contacted Server and when I check the Connections button on the Connection Center, I'm connecting to the correct server.

i'm currently trying to reach the user to see what his Connections setting is.

how is the server name being resolved? DNS? Static host file? IF the DNS or hosts files is wrong that would explain the unrecognised or invalid IP address... perhaps through the VPN they are redirected to a different DNS server?

not sure how the name is being resolved. i've left a message with our VPN guy to get his thoughts as well. i'm just wondering if it's something on the user's end (he's a vendor from another company) because i have other users coming in through the same VPN and they are not reporting the problem. i've also taken info i've found from previous postings and forwarded it on to the user so they can check port blocking and firewall stuff to see if they have an issue there. thanks for the direction!
