connecting to mysql from as/400

Just for grins.

Is there a way to have the AS/400 (v4r5m0)using ddm, sql, drda, etc, to connect to a MySQL database? I tried setting up a DDM file giving the ip address of the W2k server (on the IPCS card) and port 3306 for MySQL. No luck with that, said it could not connect.

Any thoughts?
