Not sure i understand this. "existing application" means: a bundle of ASP files?
o Create a new project
o And then 'Add item | existing' all application files.
Do not try to import/open/add the VIC, VIP, SUO etc files br

The easiest way to 'see' and existing web using interdev is to... create a new web using Interdev and copying the existing web into it (or rename the existing web, create the new one with the credentials of the old, then copy it all back). You could try creating a new one in interdev with the same name as the existing one - it may just detect the existing web and try to extend it in the VI way.

This is all to do with B$%%y front page server extensions and MTS etc.. Who knows what settings are established when creating a web using VI, compared to creating one manually - but sometimes you just can't get VI to 'see' and existing web, no matter how hard you try.

Hope this helps! (Content Management)
