Having a problem backing up individual mailboxes. when i try to expand the microsoft exchange mailboxes i get a dialog box asking for the default backup exec mailbox after i input the information i recieve and error "couldnot attach to the specified exchange server" and ideas on what might be the problem here?

The account has to be a mailbox that is attached to a administrative account with at least permissions admin for that to attach to mailboxes. Go through your account and see if it has the right permissions to attach to mailboxes..
