Connecting to/creating databases in Builder 5

Hello. A very friendly Dutch person sent me an FAQ on Builder and databases (particularly connecting to Access databases), but I'm afraid he was not only very friendly, but evidently far brighter than I am, as well.
So I was wondering if anybody could send anything helpful in the way of tuts or FAQs that might ease my progression into coding database applications.

I'm too trying to begin programing DB programs, but haven't had any luck so far! =(
