Connecting to CaliberRM and Starteam

I have a VB Macro in a Word document which needs to connect to CaliberRM and Starteam. I can connect to one but not both. When I try to connect to the second I get a message that the reference is not found. Even disconnecting from the first before connecting to the second does not work. Does anyone know why this would happen. I have the Caliber and Starteam listed and selected in the References.
