I'm trying to run a report from this huge excel spreadsheet. This thing is linked to about 30 other files and those are linked to other files... I can't even open it in excel from where I am, it's just too big and full of links.
Anyway, if I save this monster to text and put it into an access database everything is fine, but when I try to report off of the live excel data it dosn't give me the current information.
I have a couple of simple test excel files that I can report from, so I dont' think it's a general excel problem. may be it's just that the file is too complex? I'm wondering if it's even possible to report from this convoluted monstrosity?
