Hi , scenario 1) I'm using an adsl modem to connect to a bcm 4.0 400 via natted ports 5989 and 443 on the modem this works fine for the BCm 400 4.0...however I'm trying to get a similar setup at a different location with a BCM450 and a modem port natted to work like scenario 1.what should I do ? Secondly I've built a vpn tunnel to the first main network where the BCM450 sits.I can ping every other PC ,printer etc from the second network but not the BCM450.What should I do next?

Can you ping the 450 from a PC at the second site? If so, the problem is the default gateway or the subnet mask programmed on the 450.

sorted it out already thanks I had the modem changed , its IP was 192.168.1.254 however the new modem's ip is 192.168.1.1 ....that was it .....thanks
