How can I connect to a Nortel Baystack 450's web interface. Just inherited a network with them, and I don't have any experience with them.

You'll need to find the management IP of the switch or stack. Connec a straight through serial cable between your device and the switch. Set your serial port for 9600-8-N-1. Press control and Y at the same time to draw the menu. You should be able to follow the menu from there to find the IP. Once you know the IP, enter that in your web browser and you are on your way.

Hi,

Nortel 450/350 doesn't have web management, instead you can use SNMP management via Java Device Manager available for free on Nortel's web. It is graphic tool and you can perform all management tasks using it. Of course first you have to know switch/stack IP address and SNMP communities.

Regards,
Brat
