First off, let me state that I do not have access to the AS400 itself. I am on a Windows 95 machine, which through normal TCP/IP settings connects to the DHCP server 10.16.1.9, which gives my machine an IP of 10.17.1.25 to use the internet. Now the AS400 has an IP of 10.16.1.2, and can only communicate with machines on the IP 10.16.xxx.xxx. If I were to manually change my Windows 95 machine's IP (through network properties) to 10.16.xxx.xxx, would I be able communicate with the AS400, thus being able to TN5250? What else should I know or have to do? Thank you.

Umm... depends how your network is set up. If routing was set up properly, it should work already. I would talk to your network admin to get the problems fixed. iSeriesCodePoet
