connecting to an ldap server

I'm trying to connect a mac client's OS (10.2) address book to a windows 2000 ldap server. I'm stuck on what I should type in the Search field. Should I type in the windows labels or the apple labels or does it matter?

have you figured out your delema on authentication via LDAP?

I'm having the same exact issue.
