Hi,

I wonder if someone can help.

I’m trying to configure the POP3 connector in SBS 2003 R2 to connect to my company’s IMAP mail boxes. So far I’ve

• Specified the ISP’s SMTP server as the default for sending. Although it takes ages to send a mail, this does seem to work. Intended recipients get the mails they’re supposed to.
• Specified the ISP’s IMAP server, creating an entry in the POP3 connector linking each Exchange mailbox with the relevant ISP IMAP account.
• Set the IMAP mail account as the default SMTP account in each user’s recipient policy (so they’re sending from johsmith@genericdomain.com rather than johnsmith@genericdomain.local.

I can send emails from my client PCs fine and they appear to come from the right address. However, when I reply to these test mails, the reply goes to ISP. It then sits on their server, along with all the other mails I can’t find a way to download.

Can anyone tell me how to get Exchange Server to sync with IMAP mailboxes using the POP3 connector built-in to Windows Small Business Server 2003?

Thanks

Karl (kwinsw)
