Okay, I hope somebody can help me here. My bro has a small home network, an Apple Powerbook G4 running MAC OS X (of course) and a generic PC running Windows XP Pro, connected via a Belkin 4 port 10/100 ethernet router. Here's my problem: he is broadcasting an audio stream from the PC using SHOUTcast DNAS in conjunction with Winamp. Now the idea here is that there is a link on the homepage of my brother's website ( which, when you click on it, launches your copy of Winamp and begins to play the audio stream. This is essentially an online radio station. This is what the code of the link looks like:

<A HREF=&quot;192.168.2.1:8000/listen.pls&quot;>

Originally this audio stream was being broadcast from the PC when it was connected directly to the internet and not connected through the router as it is now. At that time it was a simple case of entering the PC's IP address in place of the&quot;192.168.2.1&quot; seen in the code above. But now he's got it connected via the router, and now the link won't work any more. I think what the problem is, is that when the link is clicked, the user's browser can find the router, but it can't get past the router to locate the audio stream originating from the PC. How do I remedy this? How do I modify the code so that this will work properly with the router? Does anybody have any idea at all?

First, to play from the internet side, the link on the website needs to be the WAN ip address (router's internet IP address from the ISP). Next, look for 'port forwarding' or something similar in the router administration settings. Forward port 8000 to the pc's ip address (192.168.1.1 I assume).
