Connecting to an AIX box via alias DNS name from NT

Hi,

I have a network with two DNS servers, primary and secondary. I have an AIX box that I would like to connect to using an alias DNS name. I can connect using its real DNS name record (support) but when I setup an alias name record (c10) it will not connect at all.

Could anybody please help!

Did u try to put bind4 or bind8 in /etc/netsvc.conf ??

Ex:
local=local,bind4

Is DNS on NT a DNS BIND ??
