I've been trying to connect to an Access database from FP2000. However, I got the following error message when I try to view the .asp page:

This problem can occur if:
* the connection has been removed from the web
* the file 'global.asa' is missing or contains errors
* the root folder does not have Scripting permissions enabled
* the web is not marked as an Application Root

The whole site is a subweb but I have put the access DB under a \fpdb directory under the root of this subweb. I wonder if I actually have to put it under the root of the whole web?

Have you verified the database?

-Dave

I am getting the same problem and yes I have verified the database. How can I check to see if the root folder has scripting permissions enabled? Anybody have any other ideas? Thanks, Dan
