So I'm kind of curious about this...
At the office I got the niftly little job of setting up an officewide chat program so as to free up the phones and keep employees from having to run from office to office. It took up way more of my time than I thought and now I've got this nice sized multithreaded server program that is so slow it has to run on it's own dedicated machine. I'd REALLY like to make the server in .asp code online, (i've got my reasons)... I'll ask in the .asp form about this thing too, but right now, I'm just wondering can I set up a .asp page on our website that acts as a server? I guess, can winsock do that and what does it need to see sent back to show the program that it's a server? Maybe this is the way wrong questions or something but im still trying to figure out how I'm going to scrap months of work for microsoft. THANKS GUYS!!
