How to I use enterprise manager to connect to a remote server i have the ip address and the username and the password for the server and i have a database that is up on that server i need to now change some part of the database <br>

In the Server Menu, Select &quot;Register Server&quot;, then in the dialog box, put the ipaddress in the server combo box, pick the connection type you wish to use.&nbsp;&nbsp;(Standard Security should do nicely), then enter your login id and password and hit the &quot;Register&quot; button.<br><br>Your server should appear in the Server Manager window, where you can browse and edit whatever the administrator has set your permissions to....
