Connecting to a remote MySQL through MyODBC using MS Access

I'm struggling to connect to a remote MySQL database set up by my hosting company. I'm trying to do it across the web using MyODBC connected in through MS Access 97.<br>
I'm told it should be an easy way for me to maintain a database for my web-site, but I'm having a nightmare with ODBC call failed errors.<br>
Is their any really useful Help, FAQs, Examples of using MyODBC like this?
